Srinivas Nimmagadda has close to two decades of entrepreneurial experience. During that period he has turned ideas into market penetrating products in diverse markets ranging from semiconductors to optical networking to nano technology and energy storage. Srinivas was recently VP of Business Development at ZettaCore, Inc. where he led efforts to commercialize electrochemical capacitor on silicon and other substrates. At ZettaCore Srinivas founded molecular interface business, and quickly established it with a crisp value proposition. Under Srinivas' leadership molecular interface technology gained traction with multiple customers as a unique brand, and the business was acquired within a few years of its founding.

Prior to ZettaCore, Srinivas was in-charge of Optical Networking business at Infineon Technologies (Catamaran acquisition: 2001). Srinivas managed a team of architects, system designers, software engineers, applications engineers and marketing managers. At Infineon, he turned a design-loss into a landmark win at Alcatel with a $100M design-win revenue. He further led his team to successfully compete with entrenched competitors and secure design wins at several major OEMs.

Earlier in his career, Srinivas was with Rambus (IPO: 1997), where he was instrumental in establishing the critical infrastructure for RDRAM technology. Srinivas managed the Intel account during Direct RDRAM deployment. Prior to Rambus, Srinivas designed server sub-systems at Sun Microsystems and Tandem Computers.

Srinivas holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley, an MSEE from The University of Arizona, and B.Tech from Nagarjuna University.
